Here's the way to connect 8" stovepipe to most Vermont Castings Stoves with an oval flue collar. The straight boot is 11 1/2" high. The male oval end dimension is 5 3/8" x 9 3/4", and the round female end accepts 8" diameter, 22-ga. stovepipe.
