- APPLICATION:This Breakaway Switch Kit Fit for Blue Ox Patriot (BRK2012), Patriot II (BRK2010 or BRK2016), or Patriot 3 (BRK2019) supplemental braking systems
- FUNCTION:Installing Breakaway in the towed car can transfer the braking system between towing vehicles. If the traction mechanism disengages, the separation switch will stop the towed vehicle, it can eliminating the need for unloading and moving separation devices between vehicles
- EASY TO INSTALL:Fix the switch at the front of the trailer, then insert the cable, pass through the engine compartment to the firewall and enter the cab, and then insert it into your Patriot supplemental braking system. There are two ways to connect the separation device to the brake: 1. through a firewall; 2. Thread the cable through the door/window
